I know this hotel well and would rate it as one of the best in the city. On the F&B side, they are probably the best. Also consider the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo.

Grand Hyatt also does a good job

Both are truly great hotels

What about the others? Ritz Carlton? Shangri-la? Peninsula? Kiao Plaza?

Is Park Hyatt the most expensive? Seems that it is

most expensive does not always mean the best.

You can cut the irony with a knife

How are the hotel restaurants and bars?

Any good Japanese fine/casual dining as well as teppanyaki that you people recommend?

I would rate them as follows:

1: Mandarin Oriental
2: Park Hyatt
3: Peninsula
4: Grand Hyatt

The fusion tepenyaki retauraunt at Grand Hyatt is one of the best I've tried

Nb I have not stayed at Ritz so nt sure how this rates.

For something authentically Japanese, you may want to y Hotel Okura. It's a bi old bu has character, and the Yamazato restaurant is excellent, (but expensive)

Enjoy

I still like NY Bar in the Park Hyatt. Brunch in the NY Grill is good.

Four Seasons Marunouchi is nice too, especially for its proximity to Tokyo Station.

There is no Fairmont in Tokyo but Four Seasons is very nice too!

A city like Tokyo has no lack of magnificent luxurious hotels if one can afford the price tag!

There was a better way to fly it was called Concorde
