What do you guys think about wearable Gadgets?

Google Glass
http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-...s-arrives-in-2013-and-under-$1500/

Alleged Apple Watch
http://crave.cnet.co.uk/mobiles/appl...iphone-appears-in-patent-50010495/

Asked another way: the guy with the walking around with the Bluetooth headset while not a a call? D^*&^che? or cool guy?

I might be a bit slow in picking up trends; so i decided to ask

Generally, pretty awesome.

That's a different question entirely, but if you use bluetooth outside of your car, you're a douche.

Google Glass

I don't know about a HUD for me. I'm sure there will be plenty of folks that jump right into it and think it's the coolest thing ever, but I'm thinking the price point is too high. Will there be enough early adopters to drive the price down? Maybe. But, I don't see me buying one.

I think this is an obvious evolution of the watch. I'm not sure I would have a need for it, but I think it will do what Apple has been awesome at doing...create a market (or need) where there wasn't one.

I wouldn't call him a d***, but I wouldn't call him cool, either.

I'm pretty slow at picking up on new technology. I'm hardly an early adopter.

Me neither, but it makes me excited because it will lead to much more products at a cheaper price in this area. I feel the same way about 3D printers... to expensive, not enough uses now but give it 10 years and we'll all have them. I'm sure eventually there'll be contact lens computers or something crazy

Ironically I have never flown a Delta MD-90 :)

I haven't bought myself an iPad or iPad mini (yet) and have no clue how Googles Glass would work with bifocals or progressive lenses.

Outside of potential medical equipment needs all I really want these days is Bluetooth and a rear view camera in a car.

Well, maybe heated seats also.

I drove a rental a few months ago with air-conditioned seats. I have decided that air-conditioned/heated seats are a must on my next car.

I put my name in the hat for the chance to pay $1.5k for one of the 8,000 initial Google Glass that will be distributed.

And yeah, I'd pay it in a heartbeat.

The above post is my opinion. Don't like it? Don't read it.
