Another Tour de France another victory for the US Postal Team!
The tour is set to commence tomorrow in Luxembourg and who is favored to win this year?? None other then the great Texan himself and winner of the previous three tours, Lance Armstrong.
This year he is in even better shape and more confident then ever.
After he wins this year he will only have to win one more to tie Indurain for the most straight wins and the most overall victories, he will also pass the other American great, Greg LeMond for the second most Tour wins.
Go Armstrong!!
See you at the Champs-Elysees!

Check your facts before posting such things.
Eddy Merckx was the greatest and had 5 tour de France victorys.
That means atleast another 2 victorys to get to the same level.

Nope, what he said was right.
Assuming he wins this year, that makes 4 victories. Add next year, you get 5, as much as Indurain in the previous decade.
As much as Eddie Mercks, but please, don't forget both French who did the same : Bernard Hinault and Jacques Anquetil. They also won the Tour 5 times each !

Sorry guys I just put Indurains name because he was the last one to do it and it has been a big goal for Armstrong. I am well aware of Mercks, Hinault and Anquetil and Im sorry for not listing them in my first posting.....
But Manni you should read a little more carefully in the future........

Yes, Racko, you should be right about that.
But maybe this status of an untouchable could be the biggest threat for Armstrong.
No one would have supposed Bjarne Riis to beat Indurain in 1996...

Manni,
Yeah your information is correct but that really doesnt mean much if it doesnt apply to what is being said.....
and just to correct you Paris is the capital of France!!
Maybe your still upset about the Belgium jokes from another posting....I promise that I dont hate Belgium (even though its the first time I have been denied service because of the color of my partners skin) and I have to admit LOT is looking very strong.. I think McEwen and Aerts could have something good this year
Besides, as I said before Armstrong is after Indurain's 5 wins after some personal remarks by both of them.
I would still like to know why Merckx is better then Indurain.....

I have no idea what you are talking about considering Belgian jokes, altoug I find it strange hearing this from a French mouth. Even if you did hate Belgium I could care less. Denied service because of the color of your parents skin? Hmmm, you've got Le Penn in France and Dewinter in Belgium, every country has its racist idiots unfortunately. Why Merkcx is better than Indurain? Because he's Belgian and was the first one to do it...
