WOW and F**K....

What a Saturday!! I want to share it with the world though - and for once a.netters please be positive!! So I am going to be a dad!!! What a shocker on a random Saturday when you get told that your girlfriend is pregnant etc etc!! Anyway, never mind that...here's to my wee lad (or girl of course)...and let's crack open another bottle!!! Situation is not the best - I am 24 and about to graduate with no proper job....hey ho, the Mrs is 29 and has a good enough job so perhaps I can be a stay at home dad right???

Anyway, happy flying and sh1t....I've just aged 40 years...

All the best and raise a glass

I'm not sure if I can really welcome nazgul having offspring...!

Maybe that's more related to what you're flying...!

But as far as the subjugation of the world may possibly not actually be your prime objective after all, I wish you and your family all the best.

Thank you! I've not stop celebrating since this afternoon! It's terrifying - even more so than severe turbulence on a DH4 over the North Sea...lol

Hey, when the little one comes along how do you know that it is not my plan to indoctrinate them to World subjugation? I am Nazgul after-all?! Hmmm...that aside, junior will be taught Tolkien and Aeroplanes from me...,.banking and boring stuff from mum!! :-P

Thanks again for your wishes

You're lucky she's a stable job lol but I'm sure you and her will be fine with your new child's upbringing!

I wish all the best- I'll light a cigar from all the way in japan when it comes time

Congratulations, and also good luck with the graduation and job finding. At least you'll now have an even better incentive

Congrats!

I was in your shoe nearly 2 years ago. My little one is now 13 months old. It's amazing to watch her grow up so fast.
I'm sure once you have this one, you'll have another one soon.

I'll crack open a Yebisu beer for you tonight.

Seems the lady folks have issues when they realize they are becoming grandmas and get all agitated. Best thing is to give them something to do. Tell them to start boiling water and preparing towels. Sooner or later they will settle down. This has worked for many years now, no reason it wouldn't keep working to this day. Give the men folks cigars and snifters of their favorite snort, and you'll be okay with them, even if they never smoke the cigars.
