What's the weirdest/worst dream you've ever had?

Mine was I dreamt I was in my home town of Arklow (Co. Wicklow, Ireland) and all these army men just appeared out of nowhere and started shooting everybody dead and I managed to find a handgun (pls note that I was only about 8 at the time in my dream - 8 yr olds with handguns??) and I was shooting all around me until there was just me and this one "boss" you could say and I walked up to him, raised my handgun right up to his face and.....BANG....shot him!!!

BUT....yes there's a but,....the bullet went straight through him and he shot me then turned and ran away!!!

Please tell me I'm not the only one here like this, anyone else have any embarrassing stories they want to tell?

It's not embarrassing at all. Living in Ireland at that time, the trauma must have been very real for an 8-year old. (or for anyone of any age, for that matter).
Obviously you wanted to do something to stop it, but subconsciously knew you alone were powerless.
All of that is OK - what is a bit disturbing is that it still bothers you. But good you can talk about it. Until a lot more people of good faith really WANT to stop the troubles of the world, its not going to happen. But it's so sad that kids of 8 or so have dreams reflecting the horrors around them.
Regards
Bill

I had a horrible, horrible dream a few nights ago. It really disturbs me...
I'm on a school trip with all of my friends. All of them, no matter if they don't go to my school, if they have graduated, etc. We stop at a lonely rest stop in the middle of nowhere at night, with many creepy 18-wheelers around. As everyone is getting on the chartered bus to leave, I put my bag (for some reason I had gotten it out?) in one of the side compartments of the bus. Before I had a chance to open the compartment, the bus took off without me. There I was, sitting in a dark, scary rest stop alone in a foreign place. I contemplate what to do for a few minutes, then go up to one of the 18-wheelers and ask him if he can 'talk' to my bus on the CB radio. He says yes, waits a minute, then tells me that my bus has been in a horrible accident and everyone aboard has died. At that moment I woke up. This was by far the most vivid and clear dream I have ever had. It really shook me up.
As I think back on it, it really did have a few 'plot' holes, but it really seemed real.

I had one once that was animated. Can remember anything about the dream except that it was like a cartoon.

they all mean you have undiscovered sexual feelings for your parents brought on by a lack of toys as a toddler and then a lack of Vitamin D as an adolescent and you become aroused by tire gauges

I used to think dreams meant something.

I like having dreams about Abbie, I am starting to forget what she looked like, she was so beautiful. I would have long since forgotten everybody from high school if it weren’t for the HS yearbook. But someone told me that whatever you think about in the last 5 seconds of being awake into dozing off is what your entire dream will be about. My mind has a better image of people once knew that I do in hindsight. So before I go to sleep, I think about whomever I want, and they'll be there, though my dream will decide the situation. These days I am starting to gain a little more control in my dreams, I can change the situation -- believe me this is the coolest thing to do.

It's so F-ing real, I just wish it were real, I hate my future, I have seen it already.  Sad

NO, I HAVE NOT HAD A WIERD DREAM; ALL DREAMS ARE WIERD. THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE: DREAMS.

The scariest dream I had was quite a while ago but I still remember it clearly to this day.

I was driving along the main street in my hometown, this was late at night and I was the only one on the road. All of a sudden some guy jumps out in the street and starts shooting at me. I just threw it in reverse and backed up. I swear to god it was so real I woke up scared as hell and could not go back to sleep, I was like freaking out the rest of the night.
