There is a song by the band Foo Fighters called A320, he sings about flying, is that why he named it by a type of plane - the Airbus A320?
Here are the lyrics:

A320

There is a place I'd love to go
Strangers takin' me there
I dream about the day I learn to fly

I'm afraid of aeroplanes
Even though I like the way
that it feels to be a person in the sky

It's alright
and it's good
this time

I look out and on the ground
really don't believe it
gravity can pull me from this height

One day we'll come crashing down
What will I do
Never had a chance to say goodbye

Close my eyes and hope that it's
a real smooth flight
this time
Close my eyes and hope that it's
a real smooth flight

And it's good
this time

I look down and on the ground
I look down and on the ground
I look down and on the ground
I look out, we're going down

Maybe he was sitting in an A320 while he wrote the lyrics, or the A320 is his favorite plane.

They have another song about learning to fly surprisingly called "Learn To Fly"...it's a pretty cool song with a neat video.

And how many of you know what a "Foo Fighter" is? The term is very much aviation related.

Damn, this website is getting worse daily.

well in the Learn to Fly video, the flight card says 767 but the plane says 727! What a great video though. And the cheesy rendtion of "everlong" in the background b4 and after.
