Who woulda thunk that the Cleveland team's Yankee killer would be a career minor leaguer?
Who had never hit a home run in a major league game?
Who won by hitting a grand slam?
Who hit the grand slam off Mariano Rivera, the Yankees' ace closer?

I, believe it or not, was at the Saturday game. It was our annual fire department trip to the Yankees game. Our chiefs got to go and do the color guard during the national anthem. It was great!
As for the game Sunday...Bill Selby I think is his name. Wow, what a great feeling that guy must have still! What a feeling, being in AAA ball forever, then being called up to replace Matt Lawton. It wasn't even a home run, a fricken GRAND SLAM! I have to hand it to Selby. Although watching the Yankees crush them Saturday made it a little bit better to tolerate. Besides, I actually got to see the good game.

With the way the tribe is playing this year, I turned it off after the 7th inning, when the Tribe stranded two. My dad called later and asked me what I thought of the game! I knew RIGHT THEN, I had missed a Fantastic Finish. Damn!

How about them Mets, they won yesterday
I was at Shea yesterday, great game. Hot as heck in the upper deck, but some great views of LGA.

STT757. I saw the Met's and Braves play last September in Shea, and I spent as much time watching planes as I did the game!
Met's with a good win yesterday. Hopefully then can put a string of wins together now, instead of going back into the crapper like they have been doing all year long.
