Its close to 3am here but I can't sleep  Sad

Anyway, I wanted to know if anyone knows when the [I]GCSE results will be released this year? Also, is there a website where you can type in your name/candidate number and find out the results? Qatar public schools have this system in place and I am wondering if it is the same over in the United Kingdom.

GCSE results will be released on the 22nd August in the UK, A levels come out today! Don't know if there is a website like you mentioned, all results are either collected by the students themselves, or sent through the post.

And yet some of the bozo's are claiming standards are dropping and exams are getting easier.  Yeah sure

Yet, they aren't the ones who's taking them.

Yet if they're made harder, the pass rate will fall, and all of a sudden teaching standards will have dropped and the education system isn't working *sigh*

The pass rates will not fall because even if the exams were made harder because of the uniform mark system. The top X% will get an A*, the next Y% gets an A and so on. The grade boundary will just fall!
