My prediction is that we're gonna kick some serious butt again this year!  Big grin

It might be the same old story again, United, Arsenal and Liverpool slugging it out with Arsenal coming out on top yet again.

The others are simply not good enough (Chelsea,Newcastle,Leeds etc)

My tip for west ham is again is mid-table wilderness....unless Joe Cole can start pulling his weight around in midfield.

It will be either Arsenal or Manchester United, but I tip Fulham and Southampton to have good seasons.

West Ham won't get beyond 10th (unfortunately), and Southampton will teeter nervously at foot of the table, narrowly avoiding the drop in the 93rd minute of their final match after a fluke goal involving a rogue Steak and Kidney pie and the groundkeeper's dog.

True Arsenal, true. But look at this way; anything higher than mid-table is a _good season_ . We're easily pleased!  Big grin

It must be demoralising for West Ham fans, no cup drama, no title challenge, not even a relegation scrap these days. Europe must be the hammers aim this year. Anything else is a bonus.........oh and, we look forward to thrashing you home and away|! Big grin  Big grin

In defence of Southampton, the days of mediocracy have gone and they will finish quite highly this season. They will also do it without spending the equivalent of the national debt of some dodgy African country.

Quite a few teams have tried to buy success. Few have managed it, although some have got lucky (and some have been quite boring in the process too).

After one game Newcastle are top of the Premier League. Fair play to them, but after one game? What is the point of a league table after one game? Yes I know you have to keep track of the points, but for TV and the press to say a team is leading the championship at this stage is just a joke.

A bit like how Aston Villa were 'top of the table' after 2 games last season, the press were describing villa as "league leaders"!  Nuts
