By chance were any members on the LIRR from Ronkonkoma to Penn on Saturday on the 4:45? Three guys sitting across from me were talking nothing but planes. Just curious.

I wasn't on that train, in fact I was on vacation in Arizona at that time, but I am a regular LIRR commuter. Most often, I take the 7:22 from Ronkonkoma to Penn Station in the morning, returning on the 5:53 (or the 5:22 if I can get out of work a bt early).

I usually used Medford station until my car's windshield was vandalized there about six weeks ago. As you probably know, vehicles in the station parking area are pretty much out of sight even though the station's right off busy Route 112. Since then, I've reluctantly gone to Ronkonkoma, even though I greatly dislike the traffic getting there and the long waits to get out of the parking lot. I just don't trust parking at Meford any longer.
