elaborate hm ....
Irony: Germany assists the Jewish state heading off weapons bound for its' archenemy, Iran.
Obviously we're a lot farther from, say, 1938 than a mere 64 years.
What help will Iran be rendering Israel in another 64 years? How many Home Depots will open in Iraq in 64 years? How many Muslims will get elected to the US Congress in 64 years?
My old man bought it in Viet Nam. Boeing aggressively attempts to secure an airliner deal there, where one of that company's more prolific products flattened half the country 30 years ago. Actually the 767 looks pretty damn good in their new livery if I do say so myself.
History constantly reminds us what short-sighted asses we are.

Maybe the world (and especially the Muslem part) should learn from the example set by Turkey.
They're among Israel's best friends, including far reaching cooperation on defense issues as well as civil.
Joint exercises, joint development projects with regards to water and energy, etc.
Goes to show that the enemy of Israel is NOT Islam but those abusing it for worldly goals.
Just as the enemy of Jews is NOT Germany (and never was) but a social phenomenon that at one point was strong there. Anti-semitism wasn't invented by the Nazis in Germany, it has existed for 2000 years or more. The Nazis also weren't the first to try to exterminate the Jews (though they were the most effective due to the industrial power they had relegated to the task).
