AIRLINERS.NET CREW SITE ADMIN
I have the pleasure to announce that the new database server that we have been waiting for have finally been installed. It is the first time Airliners.net is split into two machines and this will hopefully mean a substantial increase in speed and accessibility.
I have been spending the day updating every script on the site to point to the new database server. I'm sure some have been forgotten though and I would certainly appreciate your help in locating the remaining issues. When surfing the site, if you happen to run into something that doesn't look ok, please post about the problem in this thread so that I can fix it ASAP.
Thank you and enjoy!
Working on the site from morning 'till night that's livin' alright (1997-2007)

Anything to make the site work better is a plus!!!!
I will say that when i try to upload a photo but try to put in a city/airport thats not on the pull down menu. it will not work........additionally, i have had some people tell me in the chat room that they cannot make their passwords work in the forums....to post anyhting....im not sure if these are related in anyway........
But yes, thanks for the hard work over there, the site is looking better all the time!!!!

I found a problem Johan!
When I try to click on a image that somebody posts on the forum using the "photoid:#####" tag, it comes up and says that no photo exists with that id number, even though the image shows up on the post.

I have noticed that a lot of previously discussed topics do not come up when using the search function. Did some of the topics get purged during the changeover? Or, is there a limit on how far back we can go with the topics?
