I dunno, but this year we have some UGLY damned teachers. Its freakin anoying to sit and watch a mutilated ogre-like monster giving you information.
My History teacher has black teeth. That stick out.  Sad
My Spanish teacher is terribly overweight, and in the heat of the afternoon her stench and pit-stains can be nauseating.
My Physics teacher looks like a chicken. Literally.

If a had a nice good looking girl like NP or some super-model teaching us, I'd probably be more enticed to listen in class... Big grin

If you had a hot teacher you'd probably be running around with a boner (I haven't used that term in a while) all day waiting for that class instead of paying attention to the one you're in.

boner...  Big thumbs up

LOL, I kinda agree with ya, ugly teachers can be very distracting, however it goes both ways, a hot teacher would still make you not think about the lesson plan, other 'plans' cum to mind (excuse the pun) Big grin

The meaning of life is curiosity; we were put on this planet to explore opportunities.

Good looking teachers, especially young ones with good figures, constitute a learning environment in which it's hard to learn. That's what my friends and I agreed to this morning when last year's Systems of Knowledge teacher, Susan, walked into school wearing a tight silk (I think it was at least) dress. She looked... I feel like some kind of jerk saying this... gorgeous.
Point of the story: we should be having two or three extras with her this year... if she kept her flirtatious attitude towards male students, I doubt we're gonna learn anything.

So what? We need Mr. Bland to give our classes? I'd much rather have some hot honey explaining th Industrial Revolution to me then Mr. Bland.

P.S. McRingring gets extra kudos for using the word "boner" which also made me laugh  Big thumbs up

In my humble opinion, there's female classmates to look at in school. They're of a more appropriate age category than teachers, too.

My experience is the better looking the teacher the stricter they are. Or you spend the hole time checking them out.

In my free time, I teach University level courses myself and i dont think your looks have anything to do with how effective you are as a teacher.

I think it is all about winning respect of your students and you have to do that within the first 2 lectures. Your good looks can actually work against you, since there is a perception(mebbe wrong or right!) that good looks and brains dont come in the same package!

I have had ugly teachers myself, and i am none the worse for it, becuase they were what i call *content*. THAT is what matters *CONTENT*.

Ofcourse, this holds true if your intention is to study the course material. If your intention is to fuel your shag fantasies then mebbe....

Regards.
