By the way, that was sarcasm, and that article is from the Weekly World News.

If the information came from Weekly World News, then it must be true! But I can see a typo already. The so-called editors & proofreaders left off about 9 zeros off at the end of that number "6". Regards.

Sure that is correct. Or hopefully it is correct that the sun will explode in six years.
The sun is a constant explosion and has been so for four and a half billion years. Only kept together by its own immense gravity forces.
It will explode in six years and seven years, and many billion years to come. Anyway in just one or two billion years time the explosion will have grown in intensity so the planet Earth will no longer be a pleasant place for humans.
Scientists are already dreaming up ways how they with huge rockets can direct an asteroid into a close encounter with the Earth in such a way that its gravity can pull the Earth to a greater speed around the sun, so it finds a new orbit at a slightly greater distance from the sun.
It will have a slight side effect. We will have to reinvent the Roman Empire so the emperor can write up a new calendar system. Otherwise we would soon run out of leap years.
What about having 13 months a year? 13 salaries instead of just 12, it sounds promising, doesn't it? And it will still be Christmas every year.
56 weeks instead of 52 also means four more week-ends when we can play FS 2002 all day long. Well, at that time Bill Gates will probably have forced us to upgrade to FS 2000002002 (two billion and two thousand and two).

Well Jj, why so pessimistic?
You could have four more weeks holiday instead.
You see, a lot of developments can take place over a timespan as long as two billion years.
For instance it might be possible that Microsoft happens to invent a new Windows XXXXXXXP which doesn't crash. Just imagine how much work it would save you! How much more efficient your workday would be - four weeks more holidays, no problem.
