I bought a book the other day for a long flight, your typical terrorist thriller kind of thing, and lost interest due to the basic mistakes in describing the aircraft in the story. Aircraft are important tothe story, and yet a 707 was said to have thrusters, not engines, and pushing on the collective made the jet move forward. The rest of the book wasn`t bad, even if it did make James Bond look boring and completely believable. Anyone else find the same sort of thing? BTW, the book was "Area 7" by Mathew Reilly I think. I hate to complain about someones hard work, but attention to detail is important.
