There are many controversial threads that pop up from time to time here at Airliners.net. People get angry and some support fellow members with similar views.
I am sure the United State's CIA and FBI has kept a close eye on this site since 9/11 and Cliff Rybrick's (sp) (MD-90's) thread on Boeing aircraft flying in to the World Trade Center almost a year before the attack.

Is there a certain guideline one most follow so they wouldn't be removed or considered a potential 'threat' to U.S. security?
Hell I could be sent away to an American Gulag for my criticism of Emper...err...W..Bush, I mean Ashcroft.
there are thousands of US citizens locked up for there beliefs

Are there certain guidelines for members to follow so others don't disappear without a reason or warning.

The Internet is a great place to learn and exchange information and help in areas in which some Conservatives may be deficient in.  Smile

Well here a few links about political prisoners here in the 'Land Of The Free'.

Don't expect to hear about this in the Imperialist, Zionist media. (CNN/Fox, ABC, etc)

How about this for a thread...

"When threads become based on and full of paranoia, and certain people think all the world's ill's are because of zionists and conservatives?"

Well, that may be a bit long, but does hit the nail on the head.

(At least we can agree on Ice-T for AG Superfly.  Big grin )

Kroc,

I think that Superfly has a valid point. He, along with ADG and others have always put non-political or questioning views forward.

If you seriously think that most of our Western Governments have the good of the people at hand then thing again. Look at the lobby groups that are in the USA that direct US government decisions? Unfortunately at times when we are in crisis - like Sept 11 and OCt here in Aus the national interest may be at heart then it comes down to who lobby's the loudest for economic reasons.

As in the almighty dollar speaks. $$$$$

And we are left speachless when our goventments, rather than listening to the people who voted them in will only listen to those with money or big business.

Yes, we have an opportunity to voice our concerns and they [conservative governments] will bluster with rhetoric but twist and turn things to their own devices.

It's not all evil, just controlled by money. And that is sad when we like to think that we are part of caring willing society that keeps us sheltered.

SuperFly, please report to your nearest medical center for renewal of your brainwashing treatment. You've obviously become infected with antisocial ideas.

If you don't report within 36 hours and send the report card you'll be given within 36 hours thereafter we will come and get you.

Thank God I have my parajump boots on today, because after reading your post Mx5, it got really deep in here.

In the opening post, Superfly slammed conservatives. Now last time I checked, that was political. Also, no offense to Superfly, but a ton of his posts are POLITICAL in nature, as republicans and conservatives are the plague of the world. Can't read more than 2 straight Superfly posts without a blast in there somewhere. And thats fine, but don't try and feed me that he posts non-political views. As for ADG, she is entirely different, and my shrink has barely scratched the surface in helping me understand her.  Big grin

Anyway, let me end with this. For Superfly to try and single out the "zionists" and "conservatives", as the ones who take the threads overboard on here, is absurd, because for every Boeing4ever, there is an SAS23.....

Superfly,

I hate to say it, but those sources of yours aren't exactly high quality stuff. "Anarchist Black Cross Federation"? Come on now, you're joking right? And that was quite despicable of you to blame it on the Zionist media. You're sounding like that SAS's and David B's of the forum when you say that. I know where you stand on the whole Israel thing, but to spew out something like that isn't like you.

The media is only part of the problem.
However, I will stand behind my statement about the mainstream media covering up or not reporting crimes against U.S. citizens by our government.

Superfly,
Maybe I misunderstood, but was there a point to this post? Other than telling us again that you have an intense dislike for "conservatives" and "Emperor Bush", and you distrust the "zionist media", did you have anything to discuss?

Superfly,

Its cool. Its just that I see a comment like "Zionist controlled media" as an anti-semitic comment, and I will stand by that. And I never saw you as being anti-semitic, and still dont. So that's why it threw me off.

I don't think that there are that many controversial topics. What is controversial is when people throw in comments like "zionist" etc. etc to embelish their points and it detracts from their arguments. It also shows a closed, prejudicial mind with "baiting" comments.

Controversy, fine, that is why this is a "forum" so different points of view, no matter how divergent they may be, can be discussed.

Name calling, being insulting and using racist comments is disgusting.

OK folks, let explain myself on the "Zionist media" comment.

I apologize if it came off sounding anti-Semitic which I am not .
Our press here in the United States (both liberal and conservative) is blindly pro-Israel. I was clumping everyone one (Jews and non-Jews in the media) together as Zionist because they are very one-sided when it come the issues in that region.

Zionism = a policy for establishing and developing a national homeland for Jews in Palestine

Many like to shoot holes at the source of information that one brings to the forums. If ones' source isn't a major network, some try to discredit it.
Well some not all of my views are anti status quo and will NOT be supported by major media outlets because they only follow the money just like a politician .
There is a lot more money supporting the Israelis than the Palestinians therefore it is difficult discussing this issue without sounding anti-Jewish.

Sorry if I offended anyone.

In the true liberal spirit, I will apologize and acknowledge my wrong doings if I offended someone based on their race, ethnicity, gender, age or sexual orientation.
