Democratic Party Has Dissappointed Me

Hello all, Throughout my life I have always been a Democrat. I agreed with their domestic issues as well as their economic plans as well as the whole mentality of the party. However, in recent months I have grown quite angry with the Democratic party, Especially with their hesitation to go to war and combat terrorism. I have concluded to the point where I am switching my voter registration to the Republican Party.

Dan Sharpe, is that you?!?!  Wow!

You're going to let one issue influence your party affiliation?
Actually, the Democrats in Congress have been rather timid in dealing with W Bushman as the media is in love with the jerk and will not call him out on any of his wrong doings.

Just look at the voting records of all the Southern Democrats and well as Joseph Leibermann. They are all behind W Bushman in going to Iraq.

Thats great that you are supporting this war against Iraq.

I hope that as a red, white and blue patriotic Republican you have signed up for the draft or better still enlisted in the Armed Forces so that you can put your butt where your typed word is.

I hope your mouth is the same in real life....boy you must love getting the living daylights whipped out of you..

Jaysit...drop Iraq out of this...

LOT - your posting is right up there with the best of Beavis and Butthead.

But since I spent my post-high school years doing time in ROTC (as opposed to putting up dumb cyber stickers that say "Liberals suck"), I'm quite adept at standing up to any thuggish brat wanting to beat the daylights out of me. See - your precious military dollars at work that made me run up hills, and do a gazillion crunches make me a stronger man. Now, if stalwart Republicans like Dick Cheney and Lindsay Graham of SC (he of the phony military record) had actually served time in the military, they wouldnt be waddling around like they do now.

And why should I keep Iraq out of this? The war against Iraq was the basis of the original posting, or do you not know how to read or comprehend?

Bullcrap, its you who brings up Iraq unneccesarily.

The sticker is only a joke. For gods sake...you really think I litterly mean i hate every liberal?

Who are you lying to here? First you said you were in the ROTC...Rai thinks your from the UK and then you say "My" tax dollars. That would mean you arent even in the US and not paying taxes.

He didnt specifically even mention Iraq...and he siad DEMOCRATS hesitated not Republicans...so why are you switching the two around?

You raise a very good point. Colon Powell is the only senior level member of the Bushman cabinet that has a sold military record. Ironically he was the most reluctant in going to war with Iraq. Of course he is a team player and will not speak out against his boss.
These others who never served in combat are pounding on their chest and are so willing to commit our troops to war because they never seen up close the horror and carnage war involves.

Dan, think hard before you switch. These phonies in the Republican Party are only masquerading as war monging patriots. This is NOT what patriotism is about.

I am afraid I am going to keep a close eye on you.
Don't turn in to these fake patriots with a U.S. flag sticker made in China on the back of a Honda made in Japan .  Big grin

I could name a few people like that on here but i wont resort to that.

DUH again.

Al Gore wasn't even born during the allied invasion of Normandy.

And he spent more time in Vietnam than either Dick- Sorry, I married Lynn- Cheney or Dubya AWOL even while in the National Guard ever did.

My ride is a Toyota Camry. Does that make me some kind of Nazi?

Made in Kentucky, BTW...and that Honda would most likely be assembled in Ohio.
