Actually, you raise an interesting point. As ridiculous as this may sound, you may have paid a back handed tongue-in-cheek compliment to the Black criminals of the world.
Most criminals, for all of their stupidity, are usually of "minority" groups. How many web sites and articles do you see about "Americas Dumbest Criminals"?
It takes intelligence and smarts to be a mass murderer or a sniper to elude capture for this long. There is no denying that. This guy (guys?) know what they are doing. So it's no surprise when those criminals usually turn out to be white. You know that whole stigma about "whites being smarter" (not that I am for one second suggesting they are, but the stats for dumb criminals versus smart ones and their race speak volumes)
So if it turns out that the "sniper" is, in fact, black, well....I'm sure you get the gist of what I'm saying...
Of course, they aren't infallible. Sooner or later, they develop a predictable pattern, get cocky and start making mistakes.
So it's only a matter of time before the pinch comes down.
