Just as the title states. Whatever happened to the actually funny and creative cartoons?
Nowadays all you see on the cartoon networks are the very lame and poorly drawn advertisements for cereals, toys, and veiled political messages.
Just look at "The Powder Puff Girls".
I guess if I was in a deep drug induced state of stupor, chugging away some Cold Duck, and I strained my eyes, I could kind of see how they might actually resemble people.
At least in the old days, not only were the story lines funny, but the animation was well done, and you could tell what the "characters" were supposed to be.
Bring back the classics!
Heckle And Jeckle!
Woody Woodpecker! (not that half-ass, half baked re-issue)

POWERPUFF girls. NOT POWDERPUFF! P-O-W-E-R!!!!!!!
Yes, Tom & Jerry, and Bugs Bunny and all those were funny, but Johnny Bravo, POWERPUFF Girls, and Animaniacs are really funny. I like penguins but I had to be stoned to think Chilly Willy was funny.
