I was just wondering, are there any celebrities who are members or regular visitors to Airliners.net? Someone who's interested in aviation like Jeremy Spake?

Didn't anybody once say that he had talked to Richard Branson and told him about a.net and he had said that he wanted to check it out for sure?

There might be a few of them here but if that is the case I can imagin that they don't want people to know who or what they are but just be "normal" guys here.

Hey, ever asked me who I really am?!?  Big thumbs up

Mac

The CEO of USAirways posted on here once. I think John Travolta has paid quite a few visits. There are plenty of people who are interested in commercial aviation in showbusiness. Many of them fly almost every day, you either end up loving flying or hating it. A friend of mine who was a touring musician throughout the 80s (mainly in two bands, Re-Flex and Dexy's Midnight Runners) loved flying every day for years but his brain and body told him to stop touring by giving him a major fear of flying, so he went from being a normal passenger who liked being upstairs, to a gibbering wreck who had to be rat-arsed and sedated to get on one. Eventually he went home and the fear of flying evapourated.

fly Saha Air 707s daily from Tehran's downtown Mehrabad to Mashhad, Kish Island and Ahwaz

Thanks for all those replies. I thought that 'minor' celebrities like Jeremy Spake would be a member because he is an aviation fan.

What would be good was that if all the bosses of every airline visited the forums to see what everyone thinks of them!

Just as long as the "famous" fleet managers of the airlines stay away from here.  Big thumbs up Could be kinda scary if they get influenced by the ideas here concerning new planes...

And by the way in a few years time you will get to know me... Man do I love politics.  Smokin cool

If I was a high ranking official for a major airline, I would certainly vist here as often as I could. Why, you ask? Simply, because of the trip reports. I could use the trip reports as a research ground to see how my employees work with the passengers when they are not being spied upon.

Smart, eh?

that is a pretty good idea, i mean no one will really lie on their trip reports. so they will get the real deal.

Yes. I am really Sally Field, aka, The Flying Nun. And frankly, I don't understand why you folks fly coach, when you can just join a convent, extend the flaps on your habit and take off.
