Well Damn It's Nice To Be Back

I feel like Rip Van Winkle waking up from a long slumber!

Doing fine after my banishment into the A.net wilderness. I'm FINALLY completely over this damned pneumonia/sinus infection/broncihal problems. Thank God! I don't wish that on anyone.

If you missed what I said through KROC earlier, we did have a devistating tragedy in the family this past month. My brother and his wife had a stillborn baby girl on Oct 19. The friday before that, all the vitals were fine; that monday, my sister-in-law felt the baby move, but somewhere between then and early wednesday, something went terribly wrong, and the baby's heart had stopped beating. And that was only two days before they were to have a C-Section done for the birth. As you can imagine, it's hit all of us pretty hard, and puts a lot of things into perspective.

An open plea to Johan here: let SAS23 come back. Yes, he's a royal pain in the ass in my view, for some of his views, but he's one of the people who bring a lot of entertainment to this board, and I think he should be given another chance. Off the soap box.

Well, I'm back, and DON'T think I've changed at all, 'cause I haven't so there.  Big grin Looking forward to conversing with you guys again.

I had no idea 23 was gone. What was that all about.

Sorry to hear about your niece. That's terrible.

Alpha, my heart goes out to your family. What a terrible tragedy! I almost know what that felt like after the last as my third was born essentially lifeless. Emergency personnel from NICU was able to revive him after several minutes and now he is knocking over plants and tormenting the dog along with his siblings. Best wishes to all!! I'm so sorry!!!!

I did notice your absence (I didn't realize SAS23 was gone too!), but I thought perhaps you were travelling. I missed everything. Did the two of you have a falling out worthy of suspension? What happened? Anyway, great to have you back.

... and damn nice to see you back. I actually replied to that thread from KROC but it got axed pretty smartly, any idea why ?

My question at that time was why you got canned, have heard many versions since but it is all confusing. At the risk of your A.net life how about your spin on events.

Well, I know I'm gonna be repetitive, but:

1_ my deepest condolences to you for your niece,

2_ welcome back! More or less, things in A.net go as usual...and that's good!

Welcome back Alpha 1.

First off, you have I and my family's deepest condolences. I'm so sorry about what happened.  Sad

A lot of us here have missed reading your posts and discussing topics with you.

As for SAS23, I agree that he should be brought back. Although he lives in his own little world of hatred, it sometimes becomes amusing to read his posts.

We're really not sure what happened with him though. Earlier, he wrote an email to a user on here to post in the discussion boards, and it was posted. He claimed that somebody hacked his user profile and used it to post some pretty bad stuff. Others think he just posted it himself some sort of outrage and was banned.

Anyways, nice to have you back!
