Out there in the world wide web you can find many programs for instant messages such as AOL's AIM, ICQ, MSN and others.
At one time I had ICQ, MSN and AIM and now I only use AIM. I never figured out how to use MSN (well I never really cared about it as I know hardly anybody using it) and ICQ I somehow just didn't like. AIM is very simple to use but it doesn't offer many possibilities besides the normal chatting.
Which of these do you use and why?

I use trillian which supports icq, yahoo messenger, aim, msn & irc at the same time. its very easy to use, looks nice and i don't need two or more messengers to find my friends... I am always connected to ICQ and yahoo, but most friends use ICQ ...

Well, since most of my friends are on flatrate, it's usually easier for us to catch up on IRC. So, I use AldIRC, a mIRC script by a friend of mine, and usually connects to a few networkrs (QNet, GamesNET & UnderNET)

I use MSN and mIRC, used to have ICQ as well, but I removed it about 2 years ago, I had a girlfriend in those days and we had a lot of ICQ correspondence....when things were getting out of hand between us, I decided to remove ICQ as quick as possible, so I don't had to put up with her #$%#@ anymore
Since things has been changed since then....I'm considering restarting my ICQ again....to be continued....
