Although Oasis is my favourite band, some albums that have been on my playlist lately are:
Blur - Modern Life is Rubbish
an absolutely fantastic pop album. It has the lush guitars of suede with the pop sensibility that is blur.
Richard Ashcroft - Human conditions
it took a little while, but after about 5 listens i'm really getting into it. after being a heavy fan of the verve, his solo stuff is certainly different, but that doesn't mean that it is without charm.
Suede - Sci-fi Lullabies
in the same vein as their albums, the b-sides of suede are a little odd at first, but they end up growing on you. Sometimes the trite lyrics of Brett Anderson are just what you need to get your mood picked up. Great double disc compilation.
live forever and stay beautiful,
