Mine would have to be Christmas, what other holidays get songs after them. I can't wait till X-mas and then New Years is shortly after, so extra time off school! Smile Smile What is yours?

I would say Easter, just because it always seems like a new start. By that I mean, the trees are starting to grow buds, the Snow is starting to melt and the warmer weather is around the corner. So my vote goes for Easter.

Halloween. Party, dress up, have fun. Non-religious (though it's origins are), no stress.

They could do away with Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's and I certainly wouldn't shed a tear, that's over 5 straight weeks of crap.

It has to be Christmas. In other words, it's (christmas)-light Up time.

No offense, but you must be one depressing person. Those are the best holidays of the year, parties, eating tons of turkey, and spending time with your family!  Big thumbs up

Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years are 5 weeks of pure joy for me. I love
the food and family gatherings. Especially Christmas. I loved Christmas as a kid (cause I got presents) and, besides the fact that it leaves me broke, I love it as an adult. There is no equal to watch the joy and wonderment on my kids on Christmas morning "after Santa came" .

This year I'm going to have to become a Jehovah's Witness temporarily ... this will excuse me from going into debt buying present for everyone ....

I prefer the summer holidays .... this year I'll be off travelling and raising hell in Sydney ... Seattle .... and trying to forget about work/school for a good while ...

Mine is Christmas. I love the feeling of the season and the reason behind the holiday (the birth of Jesus). It's a beautiful occasion to celebrate.

I feel like it is one big holiday from mid-November thru New Years Day. So, that pretty much covers U.S. Thanksgiving, Hannukah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas. Apologies if I missed any.

I would have to say December 26 Boxing Day [although I like all holidays].  Smile/happy/getting dizzy For me it's always been much more relaxed than Christmas Day, & there's usually a few more days off to follow as well which makes it extra relaxing - love that week off between Christmas and New Year! Sun, swimming, sleeping in, staying up late, doing whatever.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Melbourne Cup Day Holiday! It's great for a break just around school exam time. Are we the only people who have a holiday for a horse race?

It's a draw!!!

It's either the first day of Hunting season or the First day of fishing season.

I guess it depends on what tags you drew for.
