Lying Rush Nailed On His Own Show

A great example of how the Nazi gas-bag got nailed on his own show as he tried to engage in a smear campaign against John Kerry. Rush, the big liar who dodged the draft on the basis of a boil on his fat a**s was as usual indulging in an orgy of gaseous words as he attempted to malign Kerry, a man whose shoes Rush and the entire idiot-ocracy of Right wing republicans aren't fit to lick.

'You're out of here, buddy -- we've got you pegged and you'll never call again.'

That's what it's all about.

The Rush Limbaugh 'Show' is not ideas in motion. It's propaganda every bit as real as that coming out of the Iraqi or Chinese government....and believe me, not only is it Rush and his screeners trying to keep opposing viewpoints off of 500 radio stations DURING the Rush Limbaugh show...but I've personally been witness to executives from EIB/Premier (Rush's syndicators) using their weight to stifle OTHER programs on some of the biggest talk radio stations in America....(Say something bad about Rush? He's got a legion of weaselly little brainwashed robots who report the comment back to Rush's people. That's when you get a call from the syndicator....'shut up or we yank our show.')

John McCain was right. Rush Limbaugh is a "circus clown". And those who believe in his words are every bit the naive children that dig clowns.

You hit that nail right on the head, Heavymetal. If ANYONE thinks Rush, and other right-wing shows like his, are to inform the public, they have a serious problem-it's to spread right-wing propoganda, right-wing smears, right-wing lies, over the airwaves. Rush wouldn't know the truth if it came up and bit him on the ass. As far as I'm concerned, Rush's show is an extinsion of the Republican Party, and it should be filed under "political advertisement".

I won't give him the time of day anymore. He's interested in one thing-the spread of the lie of the ultra-coservative right. A lot of people listen to him just to be "entertained". I find nothing entertaining about a man who 3/4 of what he says is a lie.

He's about as "fair and balance" as FoxNews Network. That statement, Fox's slogan, is one of the biggest lies of all.

While I rarely listen to Limbaugh any more- just too damned dull to tolerate- the Salon.com column (and *that's* a credible source?) fails to reveal any "lies."

It does describe what sounds like some well-scored debating points. But call it what it is.

Alpha, now I remember why I don't like you very much. You might support the United States when it suits you but you're just as rabid as superfly, goodbye, ADG, sas23, and the other nuts on this forum when it comes to anyone who doesn't lean so far left that they almost fall over. And Jaysit, go study history please. All you uneducated liberals are alike and call anyone who you do not agree with Nazis. Go learn what a Nazi is before shooting your mouth off.

The only reasons you people hate Rush is because he is conservative, successful, and is RIGHT. Funny how you all hate Talk Radio, Fox News, and any other forum that doesn’t express your views and your views alone. Last time I checked, freedom of speech applied to all people, not just the ones you liberal whackos deem worthy. Your kind has even gone so far as to attempt to legislate forced “equal time” so all t.v. and radio shows will have liberal and conservative views. Of course this is really nothing but a ways for the liberals to force their way into a place they are not wanted.

If you don’t like what is on the T.V. or radio, change the freaking channel. No one forces you to watch Fox News or listen to Rush. Last time I checked, you still have CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and NBC to provide you with all the liberal propaganda your hearts desire. Also, go visit democraticundergound.com. I think it would be to your liking.

As a conservative who occasionally listens to rush, I have heard him beat at his own game many a time. He has no education or qualifications to do political commentary, he is only a talented DJ. I think that when liberals attack him, they are making themselves look like dimwits. Most conservatives listen to him for entertainment on the car ride home, or for relief from salon-ish news outlets. He is not a nazi or a nutcase, just a conservative radio host. For some reason, he has had the most popular radio show in America for quite a few years. He is entertainment, nothing more, nothing less. You make yourselves look foolish by berating him on this board. The people that take him seriously will not head your adivce, the rest of us know where to place him in the political spectrum.

Well, salon.com has more than its share of conservative commentators. Serious commentators. Not a big toad who engages in libel, lies, hideous propaganda, and is the only source of political information for a lot of his rabid listeners, most of whom went home that day thinking that Kerry was probably a coward, rather than the decorated veteran he really is.

The other one is by Al Franken (of Saturday Night Live fame) and is called Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot.

B757300,

Rush Limbaugh is shockingly uninformed, blinded by his extreme ideology, willing to mock anyone who does not subscribe to his far-right views (even fellow conservatives such as McCain), hateful of other nations (he called the Germans "Hitler's children") and more than ready to call his opponents unpatriotic (he compared the judges in the alliegence case to Al Qeada). In short, he is an embarrasment to this great country.

Of course, we should defend his right to spread his ideology; having many different views out there is the American way. However, we would be unpatriotic if we did not speak up on what we think of him and his beliefs.

And you say that Limbaurgh is successful -- sure he is; so is Jerry Springer, and no one takes his circus seriously.

"Last time I checked, you still have CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and NBC to provide you with all the liberal propaganda your hearts desire."

Those networks spread "liberal propaganda"? Wow, that says far more about you, your views, and your grasp of reality than it does about the networks...

In the last ten years conservative logic has changed my mind on issues like affirmative action, welfare reform, gun control and government spending. I sought out that logic, examined it, and came to the personal conclusion that it was what I believed.

Now take ten randomly selected partisan Rush listeners and ask them how what would be construed as 'liberal' logic has opened their minds to a given issue.... I would actually wager real money that your response would be a chuckly "there IS NO liberal logic huhuhuhuhuh".

If this is all that the punditocracy (Not that Dick Morris will ever be a pundit of any kind) can come up with on Kerry (conjecture and hair envy) then they should all hang their heads in shame (but only after we wear our sunglasses to ward off the glare flying off their bald pates).

Bullshit, B757300. I'm dead in the center of the political spectrum. I wouldn't give you the time of day for what each extreme-left and right-would do to this country. Rush is an extremist, pure and simple. If you dont' agree with him, you're a "liberal' (a word he has personally bastardized over the years), or a communist, or anti-American. I don't really lean either way. I'm more liberal on some issues, more conservative on others. Left-leaners don't oppose abortion, pal-I do. Leftists think PC is like the Holy Bible-I think it sucks. So tell me again I'm left-leaning.

And you don't like me. LIke I give a flying frack.

All you uneducated liberals...

Come again? Who are all these backwood rednecks, who sit in their homes all day, and call Rush to kiss his ass? ROTFL. Do these "educated" conservatives have jobs? Oh, they don't have to-they earned their money the old-fashioned, and GOP-approved way: they inherited it. It has a lot to do with education, but I think it's the conservatives that lap up his nonsense that are the uneducated ones, since they take whatever he says at face value.

The only reasons you people hate Rush is because he is conservative, successful, and is RIGHT.

The first two bother me not in the least, but RIGHT? The only thing "right" about him is his political leanings, and little else. He has become a right-wing prostitute, selling the public a pack of half-truths and lies. The biggest lie of all is that somehow, people that he deems "liberal" (anyone left of himself, of course) is somehow not a real American, which is bullshit. If you believe it when he says that, I question his and your fitness to be a real American, who can take other points of view. He can't, and I think you cannot either.

He is not a nazi or a nutcase, just a conservative radio host..

Maniac, that was a well thought-out post, and you do credit as a reasonable man, however I must demure in the quote above. He is no longer "just a conservative radio host". He wields tremendous influence in right-wing circles, and in forwarding the cause of ultra-conservativism. He is to be credited with making himself this big an influence, while at the same time I heartily disagree with what he preaches.
