In no particular order:
Sliema (Malta): where I used to live when I was a little kid. It's changed a lot since then but I still like it. There's life: shopping, entertainment and high-rise buildings. It actually looks like a real city!
Uherske Hradiste (Czech Republic): that's where my mum was born and where my aunts, uncles and cousins live. Apart from that aspect of the town, it's surrounded by beautiful countryside, has an old castle nearby and is also good for shopping really (I got my mobile phone there around a year and half back). And did I mention the airport museum at nearby Uherske Hradiste - Kunovice airport with Turbolets galore ?

Boston: Hometown and the most "European" of major, North American cities. I love the atmosphere and the fact that we have four, distinct seasons. I guess it's just civic pride. Drawback: Archaïc American drinking age of 21 leaves the under-21 nightlife rather limited. High prices and standard of living.
Montréal: Beautiful, classic city. I think part of my love is that it reminds me of home, but with a French accent (Such a cliché about Montréal). It's got amazing nightlife, incredibly friendly people (despite the American preconception), and amazing scenery (how many cities have an extinct volcano rising from the centre?). Also, the low cost of housing and goods and services are attractive. And with any luck, will be my new place of living within a year and a half. Drawbacks: Somewhat dirty through a lot of the city. A fair amount of homelessness. A less than robust economy. And finally...the language laws. I love French, I love speaking French, and I love French culture, but I absolutely do NOT love the way the Québec government goes about protecting it.
