Hi,

are there any reasonable priced hotels close to Heathrow airport, that provide a free airport shuttle ? Or are there any hotels in the LHR region where the Underground stops close by ? e.g. Hatton Cross ...

I've read about that Hoppabus but it seems pretty expensive if you keep going back and forth all the time ?

If you can afford it, take the Renaissance Hotel! They have a weekend rate, something like 89GBP I think, I know it's expensive but it's definitely worth it. Btw, the shuttle bus costs 3GBP one-way, but you don't have to "keep going back and forth" because of the great view - you'll never leave your hotel room  Big grin oh yeah you can't live without room-service

In weekends, the price of the Ibis is 49.95£. You don't need to take the Hoppa bus, the free airport bus stops 300 metres from the hotel (bus 285).

Check it out at http://www.accorhotels.com. The hotel code is 0794, and you have to select the brand which is 'Ibis'.

It's a nice hotel! You can order breakfast for 4.95£ also (it's very complete).

BTW: price during the week is 69.95£

Regards,
Frederic

Go for the Ibis. Ask for a room with a airport view. It was a awesome experience.

You only pay £3 if you take the BLUE Hotel Hoppa bus to any of the hotels on Bath Road.

If you take any of the regularly scheduled RED airport buses within the airport zone, there is no charge. For the Renaissance, simply get on the 111 bus at Heathrow and get off at the McDonald's on Bath Road. The Renaissance is across the street. Total charge - £0. Same works for the reverse.
