Hey everyone,
I'm with a friend of mine and I'm posting this from Internet Cafe in Times Square, New York. Happy New Year to everyone and is there anyone from a.net that's going to be here tonight? It's 2:45PM EST and it's beginning to get crowded out there. Hopefully will get a good spot as long as we're willing to stand in one place for the next 8 hours. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Nick

Hootie is awful.

Times Square should be cool though. A lot of mayhem but yeah, have fun!

Well I got back at about 3:30AM this morning. IT WAS AWESOME! There were 750,000 people there...but we got lucky and we were in the first block, the one you always see on TV! We didn't move out of a 25 foot radius from 4PM-midnight, but I lost all track of time. The last 2 hours were fun, there was stuff to see and do. We were right in between ABC and MTV studios for those of you who've been there.
Jcxp15, yeah I'm not from NYC, but I've been there 10-15 times before including Times Square, but never on New Year's. I'm glad I went. One more thing to add to my "Been There, Done That" list!

That reminds me of a question:
On Times Square, back in October when I visited NYC for the first time ever, there was a huuuuge sign which read something along the lines of:

Who am I?
I've been a pain in the neck for years
And now, on October 17th, I'm finally retiring.
Who am I?

Does anyone know what that was? We flew out of NY on the 17th, so I never got a chance to find out  Insane
