Cedar Point Building 420ft "Stratacoaster"

Well, only two years after they broke the 300ft barrier with the Millennium Force, Cedar Point is building a 420ft, 120mph launch coaster called Top Thrill Dragster. It is the first coaster to break the 400ft barrier, and will officially be known as a "stratacoaster." It will also be the fastest rollercoaster in the world with passenger trains being launched to 120mph in just four seconds Wow! . Top Thrill Dragster will be their second new rollercoaster in two years, and this latest one has cost the park about $25 million dollars.

Hopefully I will be able to get out to Cedar Point this summer to give this thing a try, and Wicked Twister which came out last year. It looks like it will be one amazing ride! Big thumbs up

The last time I was at Cedar Point Millennium Force was still under construction...I wanna go back soooooo bad to do that and now this new one...

Cedar Point, in short, kicks butt...hopefully Ill find a way to get out there this summmer, Sandusky is only about an 11 hour drive from here Big grin

I love Cedar Point...Been there many times.

First it was Magnum, then Millenium Force (which I waited 2 hours in line for the opening year), and now this. I gotta see it!
