UN Weapons Inspectors , Are They Usefull Or Not?

Are the UN weapons inspectors really doing any good for the world, I mean come on, They let North Korea develop a nuclear program right under their noses. There is called into question their experience and motivations. They don’t have a clue of were to go or what to look for.
Especially with headlines like these should we even expect them to be credible and worth the time and effort ( In my opinion the whole program is a joke )

In the amazing world-renowned opinion of Galaxy5? I think they have a bit more of a clue than you do, to be honest. I personally trust neutral UN weapons inspectors who have actually BEEN their than George Bush.

Dont you think we know what the outcome will be. Well lets see did you even read the links? If you place incompetent and unskilled people in to do the inspections what do you think the outcome will be. Do you guys even read links or do you just enjoy making ass's of yourselves.

Both of you are saying that we should trust the inspectors to do their job, implying that they are reliable, after Galaxy5 has made the point that the North Korean example proves that they are not very reliable at all. Please explain your faith in the inspectors.

Not a lot. Then again, I'm not declaring blankly that Iraq has WMDs. Do you have any experience? Who exactly are you to judge whether they are useless or not?

Well like Manni said, to the rest of the world it seems that the US somehow or other KNOWS Iraq has weapons of mass destruction. If the inspectors find little evidence then obviously they're useless, right?

Please explain your faith in the inspectors.

The weapon inspectors have more of my faith than the US government when...uh...inspecting weapons.

Lets see.... 72 inspectors scouring a country for things Saddam had 4 years to stash.

Not to mention they are looking in all the obvious places.
