Hello,
I just snapped up a Virgin Blue ticket to Brisbane from Perth for $198 return, and I was just wondering if anyone out there in the area or with past experiences, can reccomend a good place to stay?
I have visited and have found 3 and a half star hotels for around $60-$70 a night, but is there any place that is well known, close to the city and around that price for 3 people?
Also whats the best way to get from the airport to the city etc.?
And things to do while there? I have been to Sydney and Cairns, and never really planned to visit Brisbane, but this was tooo good to refuse. Does anyone have some info for me?

Not sure about hotel prices, but check out the BNE airport website which will tell you everything you need to know. In sum, transport options from the airport to the city are Skytrain from both domestic and international terminals, bus into Roma St Bus Station (in the city) or cabs. The airport is not far from the city centre and takes perhaps 15-20mins via car depending on traffic.
