Her TV show, "Gimme a break!" was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid. I'm going to miss her.

I'm glad someone posted.....I'm a child of the 80s too, and I thought she was a sweetheart.

There's an episode of 'Gimme A Break' where Nell and a half dozen other...uhhh....'roomy' people, are trapped in an elevator going to a Weight Watchers meeting. It's one of the funniest half hours of tv ever.

I always liked her too, but my partner tells a story of a gay cruise he took a few years ago (before he met me), and she was the entertainment. During her performance, she made some derogatory remark or something, people starting booing, she got pissed off, threw the mike down and walked off the stage, never to return.

I'm sorry to hear that. 54 is way too young to die!

She had a great voice and I will always remember the episode of Gimme A Break when she bought the cute little convertable from her friend.

I read about it in the paper today.
This is very sad.
I really enjoyed the TV show 'Gimme A Break' back in the early 1980s.

I enjoyed her too. She gave me plenty of laughs with Gimmie a Break. My heart is broken that she passed.
