Well, Liverpool had both Heskey and Owen up front for the match against Crystal Palace in the rematch of the FA Cup 4th round at Anfield.
After 1-1 away at Crystal Palace, Liverpool should have no problems pregressing to the 5th round against this 1st division team. Well, things didn't quite go Liverpool's way last night:
Michael Owen produced some huge chances in the first half and should have scored at least 3 goals! (He was unable to outsmart the goalkeeper twice, and also managed to miss the goal from 6 meters out!
Emile Heskey snatced the ball on Liverpools half, and ran accros halft the footballfield, with loads of time how to et the ball past the keeper. In the end he he put it straight in his arms.
Liverpool had all the chances in the first half, and it seemed like it would only be a matter of time before they got their first goal.
2nd half: Crystal Palace creating the chances, and are finally rewarded with a goal on a smashing volley.
Crystal P get's one man sent off after elbowing Hypiia in the face, and have to play the remaining miniutes with ten men.
Liverpool never got their equalliser, instead Crystal Palace scored again (or should I say the Liverpool defence made a nice own goal.)
AGG: Liverpool 1 Crystal Palace 3
Crystal Palace meet Leeds in the 5th round. (But we all know that THE match of the upcoming round will be played at Old Trafford next saturday.)
Hard luck Liverpool.

I am becoming worried about Owen, he has been out of sorts for a long time. Last season he had a rotten spell, the season before he had another long drought. And this season he's hardly been firing all cylinders, he seems to have too many lean spells for a player of his quality. Plus his constant hamstring troubles add to the problem.
