A large problem with the proposed invasion of Iraq is the Kurds. It seems that we can't trust Turkey in the North because they hate the Kurds, and all of Saddam's regine hates the Kurds. Turkey would not allow a Kurdish state if Iraq were to be partitioned. What does everyone have against the Kurds?

Probably it has something to do with the fact that the independent state they would create would be socialist? I don't know however what is opinion on Kurds in Iran, probably it is better there than in Iraq or Turkey, cause many Kurds even in Iraq supported Iran in Iraq/Iran war (and that was the reason why Saddam later used chemical weapon on Kurdish village).

Because the Kurds sit on loads of oil, an independent Kurdish state would have
lot of oil. The curse of the Kurds is that they fight each other as much as they fight everyone else, that´s why they don´t have an independent state.
