You Think A Gallon Of Gas Is Expensive?

Diet Snapple 16 oz $1.29 .................
10.32 per gallon
Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz $1.19 .................
9.52 per gallon
Gatorade 20 oz $1.59 .................
10.17 per gallon
Ocean Spray 16 oz $1.25 .................
10.00 per gallon
Brake Fluid 12 oz $3.15 .................
33.60 per gallon
Vick's Nyquil 6 oz $8.35 .................
178.13 per gallon
Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85 ................
123.20 per gallon
Whiteout 7 oz $1.39 .................
25.42 per gallon
Scope Mouthwash 1.5 oz $0.99 ..............
84.48 per gallon

~ and this is the REAL KICKER ~

EVIAN WATER 9 oz for $1.49 ........ 21.19
per gallon.

$21.19 FOR WATER! .....and the buyers don't even
know the source!!
So, the next time you're at the pump, be glad your
car doesn't run on water, Scope, or Whiteout or,
(God forbid), PEPTO BISMOL or NYQUIL!!!!

(Just a little humor to help ease the pain of your
next trip to the pump...........!)

I owuld like to see gas go up towards around those prices. Give the tax money to education and welfare.... after all driving is not a right but rather a privilage.

you know what though, not too many people are using 10-20 gallons a week of those other items as most people do with gas...it may sound expensive, but its not. It's all relative.

I must add a bit of reality to this. In 1985 I sold gasoline for an average of $1.00 per gallon. Assuming a 3% inflation rate it should cost $1.75 per gallon. I pay $1.59 as of today so petrol is in fact cheaper when adjusted for inflation. Of course I should also earn $13000 more per year by that logic and I don't.

I'm just glad I bought my new truck. Instead of spending $6.00 per day I spend $3.70. Almost pays my insurance bill and the more prices go up, the better off I am, relatively speaking.

Quit calling an airport ramp "Tarmac" and a taxiway "runway".

Errrr, I don't believe an education and an income is a right either, big guy.  Big grin

But that's mighty progressive of you. Don't worry, though; there's a cure for that. When you get an income and responsibilities, it will put a screeching halt to your nobility REAL quick.

Gas around here is $1.98/gal for reg. and $2.18/gal for premium (of course my car requires premium) and I dont mind paying it as my car does not use much gas.

Now to the guy who said use the profits from gas for education and welfare. Education I understand...but welfare???? Yeah, I would like to support only myself and my wants with my income.
