If the war actually gets underway, what do you think the probablity of the following scenarios happening are?
Please rate them on a 1-10 scale, with a "1" being [in your mind] a certainty that you can take to the bank, and a "10" being that it doesn't even have a drug induced paranoid schizoid possiblity of happening.
1. The reinstatement of the Draft.
2. Terror attacks on a "small" scale (suicide bombers, letter bombs, etc.) in the US. Casualties will be in the dozens or hundreds.
3. Medium scale terror attacks in the US (large bombs, biological, etc). Death toll in the thousands to ten thousands
4. Large scale terror attacks in the US (nuclear bombs, entire cities). Death toll in the millions.
5. Non "fatal", but disruptive terroism (destroyed bridges, pipelines, etc).
6. Enact Martial Law
7. An assasination attempt on Pres Bush and/or other high level officials
8. The US economy will slip into a depression, similar to the 1930's.

The military and the adminstration don't want this. Just a certian democrat representive from New York who feels he has to attack anything the current adminstration does just because of who they are.

We are bound to piss somebody off an they are likely to lash out but I don't think that there are not many groups out there that can support large scale operations. Al-quid (spl?) is one of them.

Not likely. The threat isn't from within.
7. An assasination attempt on Pres Bush and/or other high level officials

Lone wolf with a gun? Possible.
8. The US economy will slip into a depression, similar to the 1930's.

Doubt it. There is a liquidity bubble in the US right now because investors don't have a firm idea on where to put their money. Once this plays out that money will be headed back in and strenghten. The market hates uncertainty. It is worse then bad news.
OBAMA-WORST PRESIDENT EVER....Even SKOORB would be better.

I'd give an 8 to numbers 2 and 5. The others are 10's.
"Let me think about it" = the coward's way of saying "no"

So if the consensus is that none of these grim scenarios are likely to happen, then why are you so opposed to this war?
