All these depressing topics!

Maybe we should all just relax and sit back and enjoy our lives. That seems to be a universally excepted thing to do.

Allow me to be the first to shut up and just drink.

Care to join me? I am going to pop open a Sapporo and wonder why that beer tastes so good to me.

What are you going to drink?

Hope everyone has a great weekend talking airplanes!
Cheers!

Clipper:

You've started over the past couple of days such depressing threads as:

  • The Iraqi Drone That Dr. Blix Never Mentioned

  • Iraq's Quest For More Time

  • The Time Has Come To Act! Part 2 (N. Korea)

  • The Time Has Come To Act!

  • Was The Comment "Old Europe" That Insulting?

  • Maybe you should stick to just one new thread every couple of days?

    Cheers!
    I'm having myself a beer

    Ahhhhh......a good plan.

Have imbibed myself this evening, although it's 0206 GMT and therefore I'm typing this in bed, ready for sleep!

This evening I've had 4 'Leffe' beers, of various kinds including Blond, Brune etc.

A couple of glasses of Johnnie Walker Black Label.

A glass of Late Bottled Vintage Taylor's Port.

And to round them off, a cigar.

After all, we may be dead next week.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow evening... CH just "inspired" me to have a bit of fresh refreshing beer then. Tomorrow because drinking at 3:15 am is not that much of the thing I tend to do.

Good Idea but I have to question the choice of Sapporo and chili.

It seems that Dos XX or Corona are more beers of choice for Chile. Now if you where having Sushi or tempera then I could go with the Sapporo. That is an appropriate beer. Tsing-Tso for Chinese Take out.

You have to match the beer with the cuisine that you are eating. Most Americans are total behemoths in this regard.

That said, the rule of what is in the cooler trumps what I just said about beer selection.
