I would like for people to post the "ONE" photo that stirs up the most emotions in them. This picture will represent some influential event, person or object.

The airplane hitting the second tower sends chills down my spine, it makes me recall watching the 2nd plane hit on live TV.

An other saddest moment on that day was when the second tower collapsed. The first was already gone, I was hoping the second would stay and no more desaster would struck. But then... all those dust fountains coming out of the windows below the plunging upper stories, resembling all the people's last breathes, the dust covering everything like a pall...

Cool photos. I was pleasantly surprised that I could see my tiny island of Trinidad (off the coast of Venezuela) in the daytime pic. And yes... The night time pic does make one reflect on the resources that some countries consume. What was even more surprising (to me) was that India was more lit up than Australia.

Just wondering. I mean, its dark here but sunny in Syndey right now.

Slovenia's independence in June 1991 (I was there). The next day, an armed conflict broke out, but it was over within ten days. Slovenia won, becoming a peaceful, prosperous nation; it, along with nine other nations, will join the EU in 2004.
