Ok... what do you all think of nations joining. The EU is merging. What about US, Can, UK...

the US was a bunch of nations joining as one. How long till we combine our nations? Ever? Just a thought....

depends what part of the eu you are referring to.The EU hasnt exactly united and division exist between france/germany and spain/italy/uk who are annoyed with france thinking it can run europe. Furthermore germnay and the uk resent the fact that they contribute a lot in terms of tax without seeing much coming back to them.

there may be the euro but the economies of europe are still different.

BS. The EU is combining economically because our own interest, not against anybody. Do you think all the East European countries (where US prestige is sky high), in the queue to join the EU, would do the slightest thing AGAINST the US???
