To all of those who screem GEORGE BUSH IS AN IDIOT!!! Well here is an article about the true idiots around us...

Who's Smarter?
by Cindy Osborne

The Hollywood group is at it again. Holding anti-war rallies, screaming
about the Bush Administration, running ads in major newspapers, defaming the
President and his Cabinet every chance they get, to anyone and everyone
who will listen. They publicly defile them and call them names like "stupid", "morons", and "idiots". So, just how ignorant are these people who are running the country? Let's look at the biographies of these
"stupid","ignorant", "moronic" leaders, and then at the celebrities who are
castigating them.

President George W. Bush: Received a Bachelors Degree from Yale
University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He served as an F-102 pilot for the Texas Air National Guard. He began his career in the oil and gas
business in Midland in 1975 and worked in the energy industry until 1986. He was elected Governor on November 8, 1994, with 53.5 percent of the vote and again November 3, 1998 winning 68.6 percent of the vote. In 1998 Governor Bush won 49 percent of the Hispanic vote, 27 percent of the African-American vote, 27 percent of Democrats and 65 percent of women.

Vice President Dick Cheney: Earned a B.A. in 1965 and a M.A. in 1966,
both in political science. Two years later, he won an American Political Science
Association congressional fellowship.

Secretary of State Colin Powell: Educated in the New York City public
schools, graduating from the City College of New York (CCNY), where he
earned a Bachelor's Degree in geology. He also participated in ROTC at
CCNY and received a commission as an Army second lieutenant upon graduation in June 1958. His further academic achievements include a Master of Business Administration Degree from George Washington University.
Secretary Powell is the recipient of numerous U.S. and foreign
military awards and decorations. Secretary Powell's civilian awards include two
Presidential Medals of Freedom, the President's Citizens Medal, the
Congressional Gold Medal, the Secretary of State Distinguished Service
Medal, and the Secretary of Energy Distinguished Service Medal. Several
schools and other institutions have been named in his honor and he
holds honorary degrees from universities and colleges across the country.
(Note:He retired as Four Star General in the United States Army)

Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld: Attended Princeton University on
Scholarship (AB, 1954) and served in the U.S. Navy (1954-57) as a Naval
aviator; Congressional Assistant to Rep. Robert Griffin (R-MI), 1957-59;
U.S. Representative, Illinois, 1962-69; Assistant to the President,
Director of the Office of Economic Opportunity, Director of the Cost of Living Council, 1969-74; U.S. Ambassador to NATO, 1973-74; head of Presidential Transition Team, 1974; Assistant to the President, Director of
White House Office of Operations, White House Chief of Staff, 1974-77;Secretary of Defense, 1975-77.

Secretary of Homeland Security Tom Ridge: Raised in a working class
family in veterans' public housing in Erie. He earned a scholarship to Harvard,
graduating with honors in 1967.

National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice: Earned her Bachelor's
Degree in Political Science, Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University
of Denver in 1974; her Master's from the University of Notre Dame in 1975;
and her Ph.D. from the Graduate School of International Studies at the
University of Denver in 1981.

So who are these celebrities? What is their education? What is their
experience in affairs of State or in National Security?

Barbara Streisand : Completed high school
Cher: Dropped out of school in 9th grade.
Martin Sheen: Flunked exam to enter University of Dayton.
Jessica Lange: Dropped out college mid-freshman year.
Alec Baldwin: Dropped out of George Washington U. after scandal.
Julia Roberts: Completed high school.
Sean Penn: Completed High school.
Ed Asner; Completed High School.
George Clooney: Dropped out of University of Kentucky.
Sarah Jessica Parker: Completed High School.
Jennifer Anniston: Completed High School.
Mike Farrell: Completed High school.
Rose O'Donnell: Dropped out of Boston University after one year.

These celebrities have no intelligence-gathering agents, no
fact-finding groups, no insight into the minds of those who would destroy our
country. They only have a deep seated hatred for all things Republican. By
nature; and no one knows quite why, the Hollywood elitists detest anything that supports or uplifts the United States of America.

We should also remember that President Bush and his cabinet are
briefed daily, even hourly, on the War on Terror and threats to our security.
They are privy to information gathered around the world concerning the Middle
East, the threats to America, the intentions of terrorists and terrorist-supporting governments. They are in constant communication with
the CIA, the FBI, Interpol, NATO, The United Nations, our own military,
and that of our allies around the world. We cannot simply believe that we
have full knowledge of the threats because we watch CNN!! We cannot
believe that we are in any way as informed as our leaders.

The silence was deafening from the Left when Bill Clinton bombed a
pharmaceutical factory outside of Khartoum, or when he attacked the Bosnian
Serbs in 1995 and 1999. He bombed Serbia itself to get Slobodan Milosevic
out of Kosovo, and not a single peace rally was held. When our Rangers
were ambushed in Somalia and 18 young American lives were lost, not a peep washeard from Hollywood. Yet now, after our nation has been attacked on its
own soil, after 3,000 Americans were killed, by freedom-hating terrorists, while
going about their routine lives, they want to hold rallies against the war.

Why the change? Because an honest, God-fearing Republican sits in the
White House.

So why the hype out of Hollywood? Could these celebrities believe that
since they draw such astronomical salaries, they are entitled to also
determine the course of our Nation? That they can make viable decisions
concerning war and peace? Does Sean Penn fancy himself a Diplomat, in
going to Iraq when we are just weeks away from war? Does he believe that his High School Diploma gives him the knowledge to go to a country that is controlled by a maniacal dictator, and speak on behalf of the American people? Or does the fact that he pulls in more money per year than the average American worker will see in a lifetime give him clout?

The ultimate irony is that many of these celebrities have made a
shambles of their own lives, with drug abuse, alcoholism, numerous marriages and divorces, scrapes with the law, publicized temper tantrums, etc.

President John F. Kennedy did not stop the Soviet ships from unloading their nuclear missiles in Cuba in 1962 with mere words. He stopped them with
action, and threat of immediate war if the ships did not turn around. We
did not end the Cold War with conferences. It ended with the strong belief of President Ronald Reagan...
PEACE through STRENGTH.

With all due respect...

Your formal education really doesn't matter when you live in the "real world", your character matters much more.

To say that your formal education determines if you are "heard" or not is not correct. Winston Churchill was not very smart and flunked several grades in school, but he turned out fine.

Just people (Hollywood celebs. who lead a very artificial life) who think they are experts on the world stage should shut the F*ck up.

I've said this in other threads but it also applies here....

Does anyone really give a crap what fat-a$$'ed, carpet-munching Rosie O'Donnell thinks? Or Martin Sheen, or Barbara Striesand or any other celebrity for that matter? They are paid entertainers who are paid to take our minds off of reality for a short time period - nothing more, nothing less. Is there anyone who really thinks that Martin Sheen truly understands what its like to daily decide whether to pay the light bill or buy groceries, or balance a monthly budget for a family of 6 or 7 on one income? In that respect, he has no business "speaking for the American people" because he has no real concept of what the "American people" truly have to go through daily. Likewise, is there anyone out there that truly believes any senior member of the Bush administration (or Clinton, Bush, or Reagan beforehand) understand these daily tasks of "American people". Hell, no! Bush has had his head in the sand with the US economy but Clinton had his head between every "skirt's" legs for eight years before that. The country is now suffering from that as well, but Bush get's all the "credit" for it now.

I highly doubt that ANY of the anti-Bush crowd would do any better job as President! Its a thankless job and, if you look at every President when they enter office and when they leave, they've aged 20 years! Grow up and give our government a break. They cannot please everyone, no matter how good the economy is/isn't, or any other aspect of domestic US life.

The true idiots of this world are the celebrities who think they are so damn important that their opinion counts more than anyone elses! Go back to your shallow, self-absorbed, make-believe Hollywood lives and shut the f**k up!

Yeah, and that Rhodes education would have been a lot more valuable to the rest of us had he not let his "other head" make so many of the decisions!

You actually believe this BS?! Getting into Yale and Harvard is cake if you have connections (cough, Dubya). His father attended Yale I believe, and no university turns down the son of the director of the CIA. Bush never even showed up for the national guard. After signing up he mysteriously dissapeared and never showed for duty. He's never come close to combat. He used his father's capital and connections to start a failing oil business that was saved by some contracts in the M.E. He recieved this as a present. His name along with the corruption of frmr. governor Ann Richards won him the election. Bush has done nothing in life. He was out partying all the time, never did well in school ("gentlemen's" C average at Yale), ran a failing oil company until it was saved by political connections. The man has had everything on a silver platter. He worked for nothing.

Clinton was raised in a traylor in Arkansas, dirt poor, no father. He worked hard in school and became a Rhodes scholar and studied at Harvard and then at Oxford. This was all on his own, all because of his hard work. Not connections. But he gets blowjobs and lies about them so all that doesn't matter. Anybody that has sex and lies about it in public is automatically the worse person on earth.

Take a whiff of the real world. Quit living your fantasy.

2. President Clinton committed perjury. That is a crime.

No, bill just takes aspirin factory's out when he is getting bad press....
Also, you ever taken a econ class? You would know that the things the prez does do not show a change for several years. On a large scale, like the U.S., his doings would not show up for years. Maybe he is responsible for how it is right now? Maybe, I don't know. All I know is that you cant tax a country into prosperity. He put in the U.S. largest tax hike I believe. (correct me if I am wrong)

"Bush has done nothing in life. He was out partying all the time, never did well in school ("gentlemen's" C average at Yale), ran a failing oil company until it was saved by political connections"

Hmm, like? Many people get money off of contracts like that, its the governments way of helping people out. He would not be as rich as he is without knowing what he is doing.

"But he gets blowjobs and lies about them so all that doesn't matter. Anybody that has sex and lies about it in public is automatically the worse person on earth"

Lie in public all you want, but he lied UNDER OATH. Get that through your head.

"Lol...to George Bush going to Yale...you can get in anywhere with an 11 something SAT when your daddy is the director of the CIA"

Wrong test bud, you cant get an 11 on the sat unless its left blank. I love how you make up his test scores. Do you know what they are?

Actually, although I admire Churchill, until WW2 he was very unpopular, considered a war monger and a hawk. The British political society of the time thought of him as an embarassment, more of a liability than anything else. Even when he had shown ruthlessness and courage and got us through the war (you can question his methods, which included destroying the French Navy, but that's another topic) he was defeated in the first General election after the war by Clement Atlee, who wanted to introduce a welfare state. Although he was returned to power in the '50s.

The economy started going down during Clintons administration not GWBs, so blaming Bush for a recession is plain stupid.

Nope. You get points taken off for wrong answers on the SAT, not ACT. I have never seen anyone get an 11 on the ACT, and I would bet alot of money that he did not either. Do you have a source that you could show me with his ACT/SAT scores?
