Like the topic says, what's the cheapest way to get to ibiza from Gothenburg, Sweden? The cheapest iv'e found is first to fly from Gothenburg to London, Stansted with Ryanair and then with easyjet from Stansted to Ibiza. That would cost approx 260 USD roundtrip on the cheapest flights. Any suggestions on other good alternatives? Which major airlines serve ibiza?

You could always hitch hike and then steal a rowboat and row out...

Thats the cheapest way that I can think of.

Let me know how Ibiza is. I saw it on E! and I always have wanted to go. It looks like a lot of fun with great scenery.

Depends when you want to go.

At the moment in the UK you can probably pick up flight and accomodation for under £100. The war has put a lot of people off (why?) and the tour operators have loads of unsold holidays to get rid of. A good time to go on holiday in my opinion.

Might be worth your while asking Captain Kim how cheap Venga Airways is?

Not good enough for me to swim around half europe, from sweden to ibiza.  Smile

It seems pretty neat. I'd mainly be going there for the nightlife if i go there. Chilling on the beach is nothing i would refuse either though.

I'd be going in mid july so i guess 260 USD is the cheapest i'll find. Plane tickets and accomodation isn't exactly the cheapest that time of year.

Personally, I've never been there 'cause it is not something I think I would like.

I HATE dance music and the whole scene around it. I prefer listening to some good hard-rock, blues or jazz while drinking some or many beers and Cuba Libres.

Try visiting http://www.ibiza-spotlight.com/travel_flights_i.htm for either flights or ferries to Ibiza. In case a direct flight is too expensive or not available, you might want to fly to Valencia and take a direct hydro-foil ferry from there which takes some 3 hours for some 41 Euros.

That's fun too. I'm not all about dance music but it's what i prefer. Countless are the times that me and my buddies have just sat down and listened to some good ol' rock and had a beer or seven  Smile

Thanks for the ferry tips.

LOL Aviatsiya!

Mika, I guess you can try Easyjet. Or take a ferry from one of any port destinations Easyjet or Ryanair serves?

The biggest mistake made by most human beings: Listening to only half, understanding just a quarter and telling double.

Is there not any direct charter flights from GOT to IBZ on MyTravel Airways or anyone?

GKirk,

As far as i'm concerned there is not. There's no charter trips to ibiza from sweden, it's a "fix it yourself" destination. Strangely.
