At the get go, I am not passing judgement on anyone or anything in this, nor will I comment on anything more on this. What happened was a terrible incident. And this is probably not a story which will be widely circulated in the press; its quite profound.

Aviatsiya, I have to tell you that I find it strange that you are against this war yet you say that Russian war in Cechnya is a good thing. Such stories as one at your link happens in Chechnya on everyday basis, just there is less journalists and Russian army still has the tradition of denying everything, which it got from Soviet army.

Actually Sonic, you probably should re-read his statement. I'll just cut/paste the relevant bit to help you.

I am not passing judgement on anyone or anything in this, nor will I comment on anything more on this.

So the reason you posted this was for....?

I think we can all see that this was a thinly veiled attempt to elicit a specific response from a particular quarter in this forum.

I think we can now see that this has been shown for what it is.

Nice try but you failed.

Any new links for us to enjoy?

So you don't actual comment on this article, you just comment on the motives that you're so sure the poster has?

I saw Men and Women on live tv jumping out of a flaming building to their deaths while holding hands, this was two years ago.

What's your point, that horrible things happen to people.

It took you how long to figure this out?

I'm not on topic, but it seems the certain people just dismiss articles like this as "anti-US" or "anti-war" propaganda and don't actually respond to the very valid points articles like this make.

STT757, if someone posted an article about the people jumping out of the Twin Towers, and someone had said:

"So the reason you posted this was for....?

I think we can all see that this was a thinly veiled attempt to elicit a specific response from a particular quarter in this forum.

....would you not be pretty angry?

It works both ways. Don't be hypocritical

Honestly do you think that there was any other reason other than to incite particular emotions?

Don't be so damn naive.

Nevertheless, he didn't actually incite particular emotions did he? He specifically said that. There was nothing that could be considered flamebait in his post.

Don't be so damn naive.

Assume a more "respectable" user had posted this then. Care to give us any opinions that aren't personal insults?

No, not at this time. That was not meant to be a personal insult rather than a direct and to the point feeling. Guess I hit home a bit hard.

Regards just the same!  Smile
