And they appear credible enough that they made the papers in Canada.
Seems that the current theory is that Saddam is holed up in a luxury hotel on the Mediterranean coast of Syria. There are also rumors to be top Iraqi officials and members of their families there too.
OBAMA-WORST PRESIDENT EVER....Even SKOORB would be better.

I put forth that theory the other day on here, L-188. With all the noise Syria has been making about the U.S. the last couple of days, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he somehow snuck out across the desert and is hiding in Syria.
Let the bastard live in hiding forever. He's lost his power, and his ability to terrorize his people. If he wants to grow fat and old on a beachside resort somewhere, let him. He's part of history's dustbin now.

I don't think Syria is on the radar for an attack, Heavymetal. It's time to start mending fences in the Middle East, not buring more.
The focus now on the region, besides rebuilding Iraq, is to concentrate on the I v P question, which, in all fairness, should have been our priority all along.

Schoe, I don't think the two would work out shacked up together. They would get in constant rommie arguments and Saddam would storm out in a huff after OBL calls him 'America's bitch'.

He was seen filling up the Slush Puppy machine at Ayatollah's Gas and Feed. Osama was helping a little old lady fill out her lottery tickets and Mullah Omar was manning the cash register.

"Excuse me, but what the hell does that really have to do with the subject?"
You said: "With all the noise Syria has been making about the U.S. the last couple of days"
Now the truth is that this whole Syria thing started with the US accusating Syria of doing deals with Iraq. This is what I referred to in my first reply.
It's somewhat funny to see the US accuse Syria of doing so, Syria than (naturally) responds to that, yet you state "all the noise Syria has been making about the U.S.". What do you expect the Syrians would do after US's accusations? Not say anything?
If you want to talk about certain rumours, you should at least give ALL the information, not just the part that backs your theory.
"Trying to deflect more criticism away from Saddam? Typical."
I am only giving ALL the information on what exactly made Syria 'making all the noise about the US'. In what way is stating the whole truth on a subject, 'deflecting criticism away from Saddam'? This might be the way US reporters work, the rest of the world still believes the truth should be told, ALWAYS.
