Iraq Threatens "Uconventional" Attack Tonight

Just on CNN-the Iraqi Minister of Information Of A Government That Doesn't Exist, says Iraq will carry out an unconventional, but non-military attack on Coalition forces tonight.

Possible. But this is the same dork who said that the U.S. forces wasn't within 100 miles of Baghdad yesterday.  Smile

Probably a bluff, but if this is a hint at a WMD attack, then whatever sympathies Iraq has with most of the world will wilt away.

Bluff I think, if he wants to hurt the American soldiers, he would not have warned them. Now they have time to dress them with their special packs.

It may not be WMD's, though, Sabena. That is one possibility, I grant you, but what about a wave of suicide attacks? A bunch of Arabs from other countries have been trying to get to Baghdad. That could be a possibility also.

Either way, it's definitely the last, desperate gasp of a regime that is already in the dustbin of history.

The same fuckwit said something to the effect of (referring to Bush, Blair, the Coalition) "They are the lowest of the low of humanity". Gosh, I cracked up so hard I damn nearly fell out of my chair. He'll probably be gone soon, so enjoy his entertainment while you can. Big grin

Sabena_690. It is only a matter of seconds to get your gask mask on once the chemical siren sounds, and not much more to throw on a chemical suit. I've had plenty of practice on this one!

That has always been something that has worried me.

Sure we all knew they would lose but at what cost, and how long would the ramifications keep hitting the USA

Lets just hope they don't have a nuke and take everything out when the Americans walk into town.

I think they Iraqi leadership is very nervous, a journalist that covered the war with Iran said that they never used these kind of insults then, even in moments of
heavy losses.
Chemical and Biological weapons are dangerous, could hurt the users and their
families as well, so I don´t think they will try.
I heard that 3 allied soldiers died today when they stopped a car with a male
and pregnant female (or perhaps a female that tried to look like she was pregnant?), then blow a car-bomb, may the unlucky 3 rest in peace...

The Americans announced that they will use small kern weapons if they are attacked with WMD's...

You are right Alpha, I forgot those suicide bombers. But would they ever be able to run in the camps of the American soldiers, and blow up themselves - launch small missiles...?

With this announcement, the Americans will certainly take additional safety measures. The only thing the Iraqis can do is launch rockets or so...

But let's not speculate, wait and see first.

Kern weapons????

What is a Kern weapon?

Are you talking about that policy that says if WMD's are used against us we reserve the right to retaliate with whatever is in our arsenal?

And once we send all those boring blowhards like Babs home and the party is over we can have Nuremberg-style trials for Saddam and his friends. Like Rummy, Richard Perle, and all those other purveyors of WMDs to Saddam and his thugs.

Puts a damper on your party celebrations, doesn't it? But then some of us weren't asleep through the 80s when every hideous dictator's rear end was being kissed by the Reagan/Bush administration.

With the troops already in Baghdad, that eliminates the use of nukes. That might have been what the Iraqi forces were waiting for before they went for the chem/bio option.
