Terrible Time To Be A Dictator.....

The national papers of Jordan, Syria, Egypt, and Iran refuse to show Iraqis rejoicing in there new freedom. Media is portraying Coalition forces as occupiers !!!!

Leaders feel they need to stem the tide of elation the Iraqi nationals are showing for fear they will plant a seed of rebelion in their own countries?

Will this liberation of Iraq be the fall of other middle east governments?

Only if the US does it right. The dictator has been removed, now an interim government needs to be established, the damage from the war rebuilt/repaired, and then we need to get the hell out and let the Iraqi people govern themselves. If this is done in an expeditious manner, then the other Arab nations mentioned, will have no choice but to accept that change is inevitable and do so. Also, as I mentioned in another post, this could (and I emphasize 'could') be the best weapon against terrorism in the Middle East, if it is done correctly! Time will tell if this is the case or this was a blunder of epic proportions. If Bush does it right, he might just have won the 2004 election and boosted his foreign policy standing. If not, then 2004 is lost for him.

JET, sorry about that old bean! It wasn't my idea. As far as knowing me, I doubt it as I sit in a nice climate-controlled office in Central Florida, directing Maintenance from afar!

Seeing as your from VRB, anything is possible...based on the fact that you slammed "Cap" for "taking your breakroom" (unless that is, you were blasting the cracker-jack maintenance staff at "Cap" TOL for taking your breakroom), it would be a stretch to buy that you worked for "Cap"...Which of those two is correct?

Well that leaves ATI or ACE and you don't sound like a Canadian, eh?, so I'd go with ATI...(at least I don't know of another BAX Freight supplier? and GrandAire is shut down for now, so...)

OK JET, in conferring with my confederates at Toodly-doo, I have determined that you work for that "Litter" critter carrier, correct?
