The greatest NBA player of all time played his final minutes. I used to love him when I was young, I had the shoes, the calendars, the posters, and I ate Wheaties. I wanted to be like Mike. I am glad I saw his last game. I wish I could have seen him in person. 23 forever!!

BTW, what do you think of the cavs new unis?

Yeah, Its sad he retired and I think he should've played more minutes but it was still a great game..

I kinda believe this time it is for good. The man is 40, and while he can still play a good game, this season probably helped him to retire. He really wanted the young guys on the Wizards to step up this year and take command, and in many ways they disappointed him. But I really admire the man b/c he is doing what he loves and helps others do so.

You can take the man away from the game, but not the game away from the man.

If I could be like Mike.

Boo Hoo...Jordan leaves. Again. Way to work your career J-dan. You go out on top, hitting the ame winning, championship winning shot...classic way to go...but you come back to be a shadow of your "former" self and damage whatever overrated legacy you had. Well Done Mike. Oh well, at least he will have more time for gambling, and laying more women that Wilt Chamberlian.

Come on KROC. Look at Mario Luiemex (Spelling?) He came back too. I voted on ESPN.com that him coming back didn't mess up his legacy. And 52% of 64,000 people agreed with me. I think the things he did before he went to the Wizards completely out weights what he recently did.

What are you talking about? He has still 2 more games before he retires again.
Yesterday was his LAST GAME IN WASHINGTON DC thats why they made it big.

AA61hvy. You're preaching to the choir with me. I think Jordan is the most overrated player to begin with, so I could rally care less about his legacy, but the fact is, he left ontop of the Basketball world, came back and now leaves in the crapper.

Dash8King,

I was thinking about the game before. Last game in MCI center.

Sorry for the confusion. I feel like an idiot.

Michael Jordan exemplifies the sad farce that the NBA has become. Good riddance, glory hog.

I sometimes wish the league could go back to 1990 or some year like that. That was a fantastic league. Unfortunately, it's now full of young millionaires playing only for money, and not for the love of the game. Guess time changes. Anyway, playoff time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best part of the season!!!!! Gotta enjoy.

When was it decided that the first round should also be also to the best of 7? Anyway, this ain't gonna stop the Spurs from winning. They are better than LA nowadays....

GO JAZZ!!!!!!!!!

KROC you don't know anything about basketball right?

If you see statistics or anything basketball-related you'll see that Jordan's influence in the game was very big.
Even economically.
NBA comissioner David Stern has said that Michael Jordan is worth billions and this statement was from the 80's...

No offence but he is/was the greatest basketball player ever and nothing can change that.
