Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to wish everyone a very happy St. George's Day!

It is a real shame that such a great day like this is not made a National holiday - shame on the Government!

Regards

Monarch

Just like the English though. They don't bother to celebrate their own day. Typically enough, Ken Livingstone, the mayor of London is quite prepared to blow money on a St Patrick's Day parade, but is totally against any celebration on the English day.

Mind you, I think the English are beginning to get a bit fed up with this. Devolution was the start of it, and I suspect the re-emergence of English patriotism - reclaiming it from the far right bigots I mean - is quite noticeable.

I only noticed that it was St George's Day on Teletext. That's sad.

Happy St George's Day! A few pubs here in Toronto are celebrating!

It's time the English lived up this day!

Panam, TWA, Ansett, Eastern.......AC next? Might be good for Canada.
