Will someone explain to me how the 3rd chick down has 187 votes? She is not that hot, and she has the cheap skank smirk going. Actually, she is the worst looking one in the group....well, other than the 6th girl down. I voted for the 13th girl down the page.

Jcs17,
You actually have to see her to see how pretty she is. She's definately among the top. That pose isn't very good though which is why she doesn't look pretty.

I see 16 cute girls, not a one of them beutiful. Although I hate the 1-10 scale, the highest I see is a 6. None could ever be considered "hot." Perhaps just my taste in women.
Average is how I'd describe every one. You boys must be surrounded by truly ugly women.
What is it with all the "is there a possibilty airline X will.." threads? The answer it'll is possible.

My vote goes to Katya Lyane.
Mine too.
On a different note, I sort of got a laugh out of the fact that while these young women are from the Middle East, home of dark-haired, dark-skinned people, many of them look like they could be contenders for Miss Aryan Princess 2003

IMissPiedmont,
I'd say it's your taste in women. Nothing wrong with it at all however.
PROSA,

That's the great misconception. Middle Eastern people who are along the Mediterranean region (namely the nations of Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan) do not look the same as those from lets say Saudi Arabia.
While it's true that most Lebanese are dark haired, there are some who are blonde. My taste is for brunettes.

Well No UFO, I am a ludite and know not how to link a picture. And if I could my girlfriend might just take the opportunity to post what she thinks is really hot and then I'd cry.
I can't even describe the woman because it's an intangible concept. I guess I'd say Jodie Foster fits what I go for rather well, Sandra Bullock as well.
looks are not so important though as I did date one woman that was really not all that good looking but she was, to put it delicately, quite nice to be with.

On another forum, someone claimed that Marianne Howayek looked like a transvestite or transsexual. I thought that was ridiculous ... until I looked at her picture again, now I have my doubts

70% of the Lebanese population is Muslim while the other 30% is Christian.
In that pagent there are both Muslim and Christians.
Egypt host Miss Egypt which is 90% Muslim and 10% Christian. There are others I believe also.
Remember, not all Muslim nations are strict like Saudi Arabia is.
And what does the Islamic population think about such "pageants?"
No problems. Like I said, not all Arab nations are strict like Saudi Arabia is. Lebanon and other Middle East nations have become greatly westernized. This isn't an issue of religion, but about culture and the reason why pageants are held is because these countries have become westernized.
Don't forget, Lebanon used to be a French colony up until 1920, so there is a lot of French influence.

One more note to add, most of the young generation Muslims in Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan (Teenagers, 20's, etc.) do not cover up there hair and dress like any westerner would.
It's the older generation that maintain the old values.

Just too point out- all other things can advance and improve. However religion does not. Religion does not have too keep up with time. Its the people that have too keep up with religion and maintain the basic principles of the religion. However sadly this is not the case today. Muslims sees this as the coming of time and those that think that islam is backward than think again!!

Thanks for your input. I know I'm wrong in thinking this, but I always picture all Islamic countries as being very fundamental in nature.
I knew Lebanon had quite a decent-sized Xtian population, and is quite the party town, but with Hezbollah and Hamas around the area, I wondered how much more relaxed things are.
25 Mika: It's a tough call but i think that Lucia Cherico get's my vote. I like the short hair. Nice honeyz all of 'em.
26 BA: Your welcome Johnboy. I just wanted to remind you that in the past during the medieval days, all religions were very conservative. Back in the 1400's
