Anyone watching the Spurs and Lakers? I haven't watched much of it, but I saw the Spurs were up by around 20 points going into the 4th quarter. Now, they're on the verge of the greatest meltdown since Cherynobel!! They're only up by 4 with like 5 minutes to go!!

Say it right now, the Spurs will pull one of the great chokes of all-time, and at home no less, and blow the series right here to the Lakers!

Here you go: Spurs up by 2 points with 14 seconds to go.

I'm picturing Kobe Bryant drilling a three-pointer here. I hope to God I'm wrong! What a collapse this would be if the Lakers pull this one out.

Is that all you can say, NWA742?  Laugh out loud

I think Robert Horry may relive that last shot for a loooong time.

Noooooooooooo. Sooooooooooooo close. Pissed It reminds me of game 5 of last years playoffs against the Kings when Kobe missed the last second shot. I hope they recover like they did last year.

I hope they don't recover. It gets boring seeing the same damn team every year win the whole thing. Why even have other teams?

Go Spurs-or anyone else playing the Lakers!  Big thumbs up

Yea, it was indeed 2-1, not 3-1. I was very dissapointed with the way they played today.

Oh well, at least I have the Ducks to cheer me up  Big thumbs up

You know, if Kobe had attempted the three (instead of passing it to Will), he would have been fouled and had three free throw attempts to win it.

Being a life-long Spurs fan (well, since 1980), and after suffering playoff hell from the Lakers the past two years, I can't believe this series. Not that the Spurs are one win away from eliminating the defending champs, but I am actually pissed off at the Spurs at the way they're playing!

Please, Spurs, go into LA and win the series on Thursday, so you can save me another heart attack!

Homer71, don't count on it. I hate the Lakers-they're right up there in hatred in sports with the Celtics, Raiders, Yankees, Dodgers, Canadians, and Ravens. But one thing about them-they have grit and resolve, and if there's anyone who can pull out the series, it's the Lakers.

To be the best, you have to beat the best, and San Antonio still hasn't proven to me, despite being up 3-2 now, that, when the shit hits the fan, that they'll be able to pull it out.

Whoever wins this series wins the NBA title, incidentally.

Agreed, although seeing how emotional this series is for the Lakers and Spurs, they might have a little trouble in the finals against a well-rested East team (such as the Nets)...aw, who are we kidding, the East is a joke!

yep...the east is unfortunately a damn joke. I guess we eastern conference fans just have to hope to get lebron and carmelo and hope that one turns into the next jordan...lol. And to think that we might lose jkidd and/or Jermaine Oneal this offseason. I seriously dont see how the east will be able to get even for a long time. Also...agreed that whoever wins the lakers/spurs series wins the whole thing. Dallas just doesnt have any defense, and the Kings got absolutely screwed w/the webber injury.
