LOL, Moby has done two 360ºs in his career.

He is everything that he opposed in his earlier years (read: sellout) I have heard that he has sold his music rights to be in at _least_ 17 car commercials -- how pathetic is that!?

His songs border on annoying: Everything on Play is manufactured trash... Oh his previous work, well the only real gem i can think of is "Everything is wrong" and "Into the blue"

Otherwise his stuff makes great high tech coasters!

He's great. I'm listening to him right now. Take a look at my topic "Well said." to read some of his thoughts.

I don't really care whether he has sold out or not, but I like his music.

I remember songs like "Next is the E" from Moby - Pretty old (1992 ??) and a completely different style than those new songs. Well I like both...the old ones and the new.

His attitude is exactly what is wrong with the world today. As long as he agrees with the rules then they are fine but if he disagrees then he advocates breaking them claiming they infringe on HIS right to self determination. He is a prototypical spoiled brat who happens to have an inkling of talent ( according to some ). He uses his star status to push for causes that he believes in but this is no different than any other recording star whos mouth is constantly in gear while their brain remains in neutral.

Having said that, some of his music is cool.

As I don't really give a crap about what the artist stands for, but rather what he/she produces and what their talents are, I like Moby. His music relaxes me. It's too bad I got that CD stolen....oh well.

Try downloading PORCELAIN and NATURAL BLUES, they are both very moving tunes.

I remember hearing all of his other albums, but never really caught on to his music until I saw the video for Southside the other day.

Not the best video I know (he had another very good one, with the office scenes...), but I was drawn to the music.

So, all in all, I'm beginning to like Moby  Smile/happy/getting dizzy With the exception of Porcelain... that absolutely doesn't touch me one single bit  Smile

Well coming from blighty, hats off to anyone who can
make an improvement on the James Bond theme!

"Everything is wrong" in my eyes is the pinnacle album. The fusion of both techno and classical is quite hard to
muster....but I think the boy has done well!

Accord.
